Amber Hurdle, keynote speaker, author, and certified talent optimization consultant, was named the Nashville Emerging Leaders Award (NELA) winner in the business services category on Aug. 1.
This year the Nashville Area Chamber and YP Nashville presented the 13th annual NELA to recognize young professionals between the ages of 21 and 40 in Nashville for their significant accomplishments in their field and community. NELA recognizes five finalists in 14 industries, and committees choose winners in each category.
There were more than 900 applicants, according to Ralph Schulz, Nashville Chamber of Commerce President and CEO.
“I’m beside myself, so happy and proud to be among such a stellar group of finalists in my category who have done and are doing great things in Middle Tennessee,” Hurdle said.
Hurdle was also named a 40 Under 40 award winner by Nashville Business Journal (NBJ) earlier this year.
NBJ recognizes 40 professionals under the age of 40 each year to showcase business and community leaders who are shaping the Nashville area.
“I’m not sure what made this particular year so special, but I am deeply honored to be recognized twice over by my own business community simply for doing what I love professionally and for our community,” Hurdle said. “I think the greater Nashville area is special because of its service-focused culture, and I am beyond grateful to represent what I believe is the best region in our fine country.”
